Ich hatte damals nach einer gro\u00dfen Onlinecommunity gesucht, um meine Texte vorzuzeigen, mich mit anderen auszutauschen und meine F\u00e4higkeiten als Autor zu verbessern. Damals, etwa im Sommer 2013, kam mir eine Idee f\u00fcr eine l\u00e4ngere Geschichte um einen Mann in der Postapokalypse, der in den Besitz eines Smartphones kommt. Daraus ist dann die Story &#8222;Junk&#8220; geworden, deren Fortschritte ich auf FF.de Kapitel f\u00fcr Kapitel pr\u00e4sentierte.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Im Januar 2014 war &#8222;Junk&#8220; dann fertig. Der gro\u00dfe Schock kam, als die gute StormXPadme (gro\u00dfen Dank nochmal an dieser Stelle!) mich deswegen anschrieb. Danach dauerte es nicht lange, bis der Verlag &#8222;in Farbe und Bunt&#8220; sich bereit erkl\u00e4rte, meine Geschichte zu verlegen. Nach viel Arbeit am Manuskript (auch hier ein Dankesch\u00f6n an alle Beteiligten!) und einer Umbenennung in &#8222;Sherman&#8217;s End&#8220; ist das gute St\u00fcck nun im Handel.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Es ist so, dass alles hier auf dieser Seite angefangen hat. Deshalb werde ich immer eine besondere Verbindung zu FF.de haben. Ich m\u00f6chte mich bei einigen besonders hartn\u00e4ckigen Lesern (Ihr wisst, wer ihr seid!) bedanken, die mich motiviert haben, meinen ersten Roman zu Ende zu schreiben. Und ich hoffe, dass meine Worte einigen flei\u00dfigen Autoren \u2013 ich wei\u00df, dass es hier reichlich verborgene Talente gibt \u2013 als Hoffnungsschimmer und Motivation dienen. Gute Dinge passieren manchmal, wenn man Gl\u00fcck hat. Gebt niemals auf, denn es k\u00f6nnte sich lohnen, am Ball zu bleiben.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Inhaltsangabe des Romans:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nach einem verheerenden Krieg liegt das Nordamerika der Zukunft in Schutt und Asche. Der junge Hud h\u00e4lt sich mit zwielichtigen Gesch\u00e4ften \u00fcber Wasser, zieht als Pl\u00fcnderer durchs Land und ist vor allem eins: sich selbst der N\u00e4chste. Als ihm eine Karte zum geheimnisumwobenen Sherman&#8217;s End in die H\u00e4nde f\u00e4llt, beschlie\u00dft Hud kurzerhand, diesen Ort zu finden, denn zahlreiche Sch\u00e4tze sollen dort verborgen sein.
